Biography

The origins of the Brooklyn-based rock group Apes & Androids go back to a third-grade class in New Jersey where future singer/guitarists Brian Jacobs and David Tobias met. Soon they were writing music. While attending different colleges, they still wrote together long-distance, and they later reunited to form the band. Apes & Androids are known for highly theatrical live performances. They self-released their debut album Blood Moon through iTunes on January 22, 2008.
